General Information
Short-Term Camping Regulations

Short Term unit camping at Resica Falls is available from the weekend
following Labor Day through the second weekend in June, except:
UNIT RESERVATIONS
Reservations for Short Term Camping will be accepted up to one year in advance of the intended
date of arrival.  Reservations will only be accepted when all completed applications and full
fees are submitted.

DISTRICT ACTIVITIES AT OUR RESERVATIONS
Weekends will be blocked out for a district's troops during annual calendarization and will be
held until ninety days before the event.  Up to that time only troops from that district will be
able to sign up for cabin/lodge facilities for that particular weekend.  At -90 days, the hold on
reservations will be lifted, and any unit from any other district or council will be able to
make a reservation at that camp for that weekend.

RESERVATION PROCEDURE
Reservations for facilities may be made at the Council Resource Center or by mail to the Firestone
Resource Center (1485 Valley Forge Rd. Wayne, PA 19087).  Checks should be made payable to
Cradle of Liberty Council, Boy Scouts of America.  A written confirmation / receipt will follow
to the unit leader or reservation contact and this confirmation / receipt must be taken along to
camp and shown to the Ranger upon check-in.  A unit roster must be filled out completely for each
person attending camp and handed to the staff upon check-in.  If weather conditions should require that
the camp be closed, at the ranger’s discretion, units will be offered the option of rescheduling for
another weekend.

CANCELLATION POLICY
A reservation may be canceled and the rental fee refunded (less a 25% service charge) provided that
written notice of cancellation is received by Cradle of Liberty Council at least 30 days prior to the
scheduled date of usage.  If a unit cancels a weekend reservation with less then 30 days notice to the
Council a refund is subject to the discretion of the Council Camping Committee.
